• Good for:    Quality & quirky

• Verdict:       Nice spot, bit off the beaten, and quiet when we arrived for late weekend lunch. Good set of interesting sounding burgers, including a couple of changing options (of the month and experimental). Beef was nice and tasty, a good medium, with standard accompniments - but the brioche was too sweet. (Barely) skin on fries were good, stated as cooked in beef dripping, but couldn't taste it (a good thing generally). Some good bottled beers and a reasonable wine list. Have the crispy bacon & chilli chocolate - who'd have thought? Yum yum..
