Apple's Burger Blog
I love burgers. This is a record of my burger eats for posterity, for when I inevitably die of burger related disease and/or obesity. Enjoy Apple's burger reviews, enjoy burgers more (responsibly of course)
Let this be a tasty warning. Enjoy !

Meat & Shake
Ealing - closed, only location is Tooting as of 26/07/2024
-
Purpose: Pre-Warrington game blowout (come on you Broncos!)
-
Good for: Being ignored
-
Verdict: Somewhere within the overwhelming taste of pickle, mustard and ketchup was a burger and cheese, but I couldn't taste it. Added to the overwhelmingly underwhelming experience, to go with the alcohol free drinks menu - clue's in the name, so I'm not blaming anyone, just saying - and slightly soggy skin on fries with a nice cajunish spice mix. On the whole it wasn't that bad, just not worth writing home about. Nice line in soft drinks though.

Flaming Cow
Ealing - closed, locations in Eton and Windsor as of 26/07/2024
-
Purpose: Pre-Warrington game blowout (come on you Broncos!) - part #2
-
Good for: Practicing crying ahead of another 2 point loss to a massive Super League side
-
Verdict: I say crying, because the Flaming Cow is what Meat & Shake wants to be when it grows up. I'm happy to concede the lack of attention in the one was an aberration, but no such worries here, great service and not just us. Happily there was beer, and a good little selection, not an essential obviously but useful - especially on game day. Fries were crispy and a decent size. Burger was really good, except that the patty was like chopped steak and I really didn't like it. I really wanted to, but couldn't. Hence the crying - the rest of the burger was excellent and it deerved top marks..

Burger: Go and try one.
