Apple's Burger Blog
I love burgers. This is a record of my burger eats for posterity, for when I inevitably die of burger related disease and/or obesity. Enjoy Apple's burger reviews, enjoy burgers more (responsibly of course)
Let this be a tasty warning. Enjoy !

Verdict: GoHaving stopped for a beer on several occasions, and seeing other skiers chomping through good looking haché in a bun, I knew we'd have a date - and luckily we did. I shared with the wife in a meaty menage a trois, and I think it's safe to say we enjoyed the experience. As a one off. Nice patty, not too rare - not very French - bit of salad, sauce, in a bun which held together nicely it was very nice. Just le ticket. Dipper chips, same as Stuttgart (must be a European thing) and the beers and wines you fine in all the slope and resort restaurants all very good. Little expensive, but it was a ski slope.

Verdict: It has to be said, it isn't the best burger in the world, unless quantity is more important than quality, in which case you are in luck, because it's massive. Or maybe Afrikaaners eat more than me, which is entirely possible. Flavour not as big as the burge unfortuanatey, all a bit bland - but as the entertaining lady describing the burger range said, "The cheeseburger is boring", so maybe I should have heeded (but you can't when you are comparing), the rest of the range not only looked good, but the Mrs really enjoyed her Blue Cheese & Pepperdew (the "Pepperberry"). Accompanied by a small portion of perfectly cooked chips - which in case you've never eaten chips in South Africa, is a minor miracle. Bring your own beer or wine (but they have wine). Go for the vibe if you're not a connoisseur on a mission - it's fun.
