Apple's Burger Blog
I love burgers. This is a record of my burger eats for posterity, for when I inevitably die of burger related disease and/or obesity. Enjoy Apple's burger reviews, enjoy burgers more (responsibly of course)
Let this be a tasty warning. Enjoy !

Purpose: Burger Assessment

Good for: Pretending to be cool

Verdict: Unusally un-grungy, a good looking space to eat burgers in. Choice of buns, sweet, went for Brioche to try and stay consistent, and wasn't disappointed. Had the cheeseburger obviously, and could taste cheese - insert inapproprite "yee haa" here - unfortunately the meat wasn't as tasty. Not bad though, and a great selection of alternatives to try, supported by a good selection of sides and additional toppings, and beers. Generally a good visit.

Tommi Burger
Thayer Street, Maylebone

Purpose: Burger assessment

Good for: Déja Vu

Verdict: Could have been Meat.... (insert clever location differentiator here, maybe "MeatLeBone"), but better. Much emphasis on being the best burger in the world, but a bit short in my estimation. I liked the look of the set-up, with a flat grill for cooking/holding and a grill for caramelising/smoking flavour - which unfortunately I didn't taste in the patty. I think on another day, the effect may have been better, but still overall a pretty fine burger. Tied with a goodly portion of nice fries, and a bijou bunch of beers, I enjoyed it. Also a bit cheaper than some of the alternatives.
