Purpose: Feeding family
Good for: Premier Inn
Verdict: Almost tasteless burger, over-cooked, relish like your mum gave you from a jar, all in all quite disappointing. Somewhat surprisingly, shoestring fries were nice. Usual selection of pub beers, so OK on that front. All a bit predictable, and the reason they don't figure in burger stardom.
Burger: Dull.

Cambridge Heath (pop up, currently at 44 Essex Rd Islington, London N1 8LN as of 26/07/2024)

Purpose: Burger Assessment
Good for: Beer
Verdict: I really wanted to like this more than I actually did, it was nice enough but it's almost like eating from a chain - the burgers are so similar to Dirty Burger et al. Not their fault obviously, but I'd like a bit more beefy taste. And no more skin on fries. I guess half the issue is that I always have a cheeseburger, so comparison is fair, but it means the other burgers on the menu don't get a chance. On the plus side the beer selection is fantastic and the staff were really good. That may change if they read this and recognise me......
Burger: Alright.
